Don't miss this thrilling series of original short plays inspired by themes present in William Shakespeare's Love's Labour's Lost, written and presented by the students of the Lorain County Community College English and theater departments. This program offers a talk-back with the student playwrights and a panel of distinguished professional Cleveland theater artists. The students' plays are presented and adjudicated on Tuesday, April 21st at 7:00 p.m. The winning play is staged by GLT's Education Outreach Associate David Hansen and performed by professional actors on Tuesday, April 28 at 7:00 p.m. This program is FREE and open to audiences of all backgrounds and ages. In partnership with TrueNorth Cultural Arts, Great Lakes Theater proudly exhibits original artwork created by Lorain County artists. This artwork will be displayed in the lobby of the Hanna Theatre in conjunction with our spring production of William Shakespeare's Love's Labour's Lost and will represent the culmination in an artist/teacher mentorship program that includes master class workshops focusing on creating original artwork inspired by Shakespearean themes.
